Dot Art for Bible Stories

Dot art is a great activity for toddlers. Recently, I’ve started to make dot art for Sunday School stories. The children are so excited each week to get the dot markers and page.

Here is the first one for you to use. It goes with the story of David playing his harp for King Saul in I Samuel 16:14-23. To download click HERE.

  1. I left a comment on my blog answering your questions about the laminator – but just wanted to let you know here just in case you didn’t see it.
I love your blog bTW!! I spent a while reading both of your blogs yesterday.
I look forward to getting to know you!

  2. I am no expert at design work. I can dabble in fireworks and photoshop. I have only created maybe 20 printables for my children. And they were all done with Word 2007 and it is very simple. I use the text boxes, clip art, and other drawing functions and it seems to work fine. I found some fonts online that I will try to post soon that have also been helpful.

With this dot art page I couldn’t find a clipart of david playing a harp, so instead I used it from another document I had and did it the old fashioned way – cutting, pasting, copying – and then I scanned the final creation back into the computer as an image so I could share with everyone else.
